1. Can a young child take classes at your school?

Yes, we do allow children as young as 3 to enroll. However, we do ask children who are that young to be potty trained. Our classes for our youngest students last 45 minutes. Before you make a decision, we reccommend you to schedule a day for your child to come in and try a free trial class to see how they do. This way you can see if it is the right time for them to start taking class. We ask that students wear comfortable clothing to their lessons. (e.g. sweatpants, and t-shirt)

2. Can the whole family take class?

Yes, and we actually encourage families to take class together. It creates a great learning experience for your children if the whole family is involved.

3. How many times a week does a student come out for classes?

We have a full range of class times to fit your schedule. We recommend students come atleast 2 times a week to fulfill their required number of classes for belt tests. We understand that sometimes other scheduling conflicts come up. In such instances, students may come make-up a class the following week.

4. How much does it cost to enroll in Tae Kwon Do?

We offer many programs to meet the needs of each individual so there is no set price. We offer free trial lessons so you can come see our school and discuss rates. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

5. Do I have to be in shape to join?

No, we do not expect students to start out being in good shape. It is our goal to eventually get you in good shape. Your body will be sore after the first week or so of classes. This is normal because the muscles are not yet used to these types of movements. Our Instructors will work with you slowly to get your body used to working out.

6. Will this envoke aggression in my child?

No, Grandmaster Nam prohibits offensive use of Tae Kwon Do outside the dojang. He makes sure all of his students fully understand that Tae Kwon Do is used to control their actions.

7. What are the benefits of Tae Kwon Do?

For children and teens Tae Kwon Do can be a positive atmosphere for them to learn respect and self-confidence. It is also a good form of exercise in their physical development. For adults it can also be beneficial physically and mentally. Tae Kwon Do can also relieve stress from daily tasks.

8. Can I watch my child take class or do I need to wait outside?

Of course not. We have a waiting room specifically for our parents. There is a wide screen tv where you can watch your kids taking class. We even have a window in the back of the class where you can stand to watch your child as well.
